Two new trains to run between Delhi and Rohtak and Rewari

New Delhi, Sep 11 (UNI) The Railway Ministry has sanctioned a high Speed Express Train between Rohtak and Delhi from next month in the morning hours to facilitate the commuters to reach Delhi office in time.

In addition to this, the Railway Ministry has also sanctioned a new train to be run between Delhi and Rewari from next month to facilitate the commuters, Mr Sriprakash, General Manager, Northern Railways, disclosed this in a meeting with Member of Parliament from Rohtak, Mr Deepender Singh Hooda here yesterday.

Mr Hooda said that the Rohtak and Rewari districts of Haryana being the important districts of National Capital Region are emerging as centres of industrial activity.

He said that with the commissioning of these two new trains in Haryana, lakhs of commuters would be facilitated in a big way.

Mr Hooda had recently requested the Union Railway Minister Lalu Prasad and he had given an assurance to run these two new trains for Haryana at the earliest.

The foundation work of electrification of Rohtak-Delhi Railway line and setting up of Rohtak-Jhajjar -Rewari Railway line would also be laid in the first fortnight of the month of October, which was already sanctioned by the Railway Ministry.
