Three killed, 40 injured in a road accident

Cuttack, Sep 11 (UNI) Three people, including a five-month-old infant boy, were killed and 40 injured, most of them seriously, when two buses collided on the Cuttack-Paradeep road near Parabil village under Kishan nagar Police station of the district today.

The dead also included a 12-year child.

The injured were sent to S C B Medical College and Hospital here and the Public Health Centres at Raghunathpur and Kandarpur.

Police said the accident occurred when a bus on its way to Paradeep from Cuttack collided head on with another bus coming from Antei village in Patakura area from the opposite direction.
