K'taka: Six people killed in car-truck collision

Karnataka, Sep 11 : Six persons were killed and one injured when the car in which they were travelling collided with an iron-ore laden truck near Rayapura in Molkalmur taluk in the district.

Police said the accident occurred near Rayapura village in the Chitradurga-Molakalmur state highway around 0545 hrs. The injured was admitted to the Molakalmur general hospital in a serious condition.Senior police officils rushed to the accident spot to supervise rescue operations, police added.
