Pranab to co-chair Indo-Tha talks in Bangkok

Bangkok, Sep 11: India's External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee will co-chair the Fifth India-Thailand Joint Commission, which opens here with a senior officers' meeting tomorrow. Secretary (East) in the External Affairs Ministry N. Ravi will lead the Indian official delegation to the two-day senior officers' talks preceding the ministerial-level session on September 14.

Being held after a gap of four years, the high-level bilateral consultation will cover the full range of India-Thailand relations.

Starting with the first session in 1989 in New Delhi, the Joint Commission meetings review and discuss the future direction of the bilateral relationship.
