Police arrests eleven on charge of murder

Rourkela, Sep 11 (UNI) Police arrested eleven people on the charge of beating a person to death in Birajapalii area under Uditnagar police station of Rourkela.

Police said three women of the area had gone to a field to answer nature's call yesterday. They shouted for help when a youth tried to rape one of them.

On hearing their screams, the accused rushed to the spot and assaulted the youth.

The security personnel after being informed rushed to the spot and rescued the youth. However, he died on way to hospital.
