Nitish government fails on every front: LJP

Samastipur, Sep 11 (UNI) The Lok Janashakti Party (LJP) today alleged that the Nitish Kumar government had failed on all fronts.

Leader of the farmer's cell of the LJP Rana Gangeshwar Singh told newspersons here that criminal incidents had shot up in the state and the pace of dalit exploitation, murder, kidnap, extortion and other crimes had accelerated.

He said the policemen were ''insensitive'' and behaving like ''irresponsible'' officers.

The police machinery had turned ''hostile'' towards the people and the incident at Nathnagar in Bhagalpur was a glaring example to it, he stated.

He further alleged that the flood victims were suffering due to the delayed and improper distribution of relief materials, which had virtually resulted in the starvation-like situation in the flood -affected districts.
