ICICI, vPost to offer online shopping service

Chennai, Sep 11: ICICI Bank, one of the country's leading banks today announced an exclusive online shopping service for the bank's customers, in collaboration with vPOST, the largest e-commerce site in South East Asia.

The service allowed the ICICI Bank credit card customers to shop at popular US merchant websites.

The ICICI Bank was the first bank in India to extend such a service to its customers. The collaboration with vPOST, a service provided by Singapore post would allow ICICI Bank's customers to shop at US websites for a variety of products and enjoy the convenience of having the products delivered to their doorstep, a company release here said.

The bank customers could save as much as 15 per cent on vPOST shipping charges and shop in a safe online environment, as vPOST was one of the online merchants, which had been awarded the Trust e.g. a seal by the National Trust Council in Singapore, the release added.
