Chamling to link tourism and hotel industries with others
Gangtok, Sep 11 (UNI) Sikkim Chief Minister Pawan Chamling today decided to interlink horticulture and floriculture, animal husbandry and forest departments with the hotel and tourism industries.
In a meeting with his officials at his Ghurbisey residence, Mr Chamling said preference would be given to local industries only.
Citing an example, he said if a hotel wants to purchase poultry products then it would have to buy from the animal husbandry department and same for other three departments too.
The Chief Minister further asked all his officials to keep strict vigilance on the infiltrators to protect the state from anti-nationalist elements.
