Chamling encourages for Indian Idol finalist
Gangtok, Sep 11 (UNI) Sikkim Chief Minister Pawan Chamling has rendered his full support and encouragement to 'Indian Idol' finalist Prasant Tamang, who is going to have a stiff competition against Amit Paul from Meghalaya this Friday.
Speaking to mediapersons on the sidelines of a function, Mr Chamling said that the entire state was supporting their 'hero' Tamang, who hails from Darjeeling, is originally from Sikkim and was the most popular contestant of the musical talent show in Sony Entertainment televison.
An employee with the Kolkata Police, Tamang is the first of the Nepalese origin to participate in such a programme.

Chamling
said
adding
that
music
has
no
caste
or
boundaries
and
hence
should
not
be
