Border trade affected due to bad roads

Imphal, Sep 11: The border trade between Manipur and Myanmar has been affected due to bad conditions of the Imphal-Moreh road.

The worst-affected was Moreh, the border town of Chandel district, because vehicles were not able to ply on the roads.

Officials here today said the state Public Works Department would close the highway for about a week so that the roads could immediately be repaired.
