Animated software lessons for matriculation, state syllabus

Chennai, Sep 11 (UNI) Sivamathi Animation Software and Electronics Limited (SASEL), pioneers in innovative learning, has developed multimedia software lessons in animation form for matriculation and state board syllabus.

Sasel General Manager (Administration) M Srinivasa Rao and Tamil Nadu Manager V Saravanakumar told reporters here today that this was for the first time that education was being given in animation form in the country.

Branded as ''100 per cent Magic Teachers'', these interactive multi media lessons were brought in physics, chemistry, botany and zoology for tenth, plus one and plus two students, and history and geography for Matriculation school syllabus.

''100 per cent Magic Teachers guides the student community to learn these subjects with an extraordinary level of understanding'', Mr Rao said and added that ''deviating from the conventional way of learning, this new software allows the student to clearly understand the concept of the subject''.

This new software, developed in Maya 3D animation was available both in English and Tamil.

He said ''every formula, definition, equation in the digital texts is clearly distinguished in multiple colours and every important sentence is explained with colourful 2D and 3D animations complimented by a clear voice over''.

This revolutionary education software would be formally launched on September 13 and the Sasel is planning to have tie-ups with educational institutions, schools and tutorials to market the product.

The software along with a desktop computer comes at a price of Rs 50,000 and with laptop the price is fixed at Rs 57,000 for all the three standards.

It also has a unique ''Tuision TV'' brand, wherein it comes fully loaded in a Plasma TV along with a media station at a price of Rs two lakh, mainly targetted at educational institutions.

Those owning a desktop and a laptop, could go in for an external hard disk of 250 GB, 320 GB and 500 GB containing the software, which comes at a price range of Rs 12,000 to Rs 25,000.

This software would be shortly extended to all the regional languages spread over various states besides launching it for UG and PG courses and professional syllabus.
