Two female ULFA cadres arrested in Assam

Guwahati, Sept 10 (UNI) Two female ULFA cadres were arrested from Dibrugarh and Tinsukia districts of upper Assam yesterday, police informed today.

One Nomi Gogoi alias Nagini alias Saru Bhani was arrested under Kakopathar police station in Tinsukia district after local people reported the girl's suspicious movements.

Nomi, hailing from Sadiya, had joined the outfit in 2005 and had been in Arunachal Pradesh earlier this year for arms training .

She had been remanded in three days police custody.

Another female ULFA cadre Juri Gogoi was also arrested from Duliajan in Dibrugarh district.

She had come to the town for treatment and her husband Sujit Mohan was Chief-in-Command (c-in-c) of the 'B company' of ULFA's most dreaded' 28th battalion'.
