Silver, Gold close firm on firm global advice

Mumbai, Sep 10: Precious metals today closed firm with Silver up by Rs 20 per kg and gold by Rs 25 per ten gm on fresh seasonal demand from ornament makers along with bullish global advice, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.

Following are the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 17,550 (17,530), Gold (per 10 gm) Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 9,295 (9,270) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 9,345 (9,320)
