Police constable injured after being hit by four wheeler

New Delhi, Sep 9 (UNI) A police constable was seriously injured after a car ran over him at Rafi Marg Marg here.

36 year old Vinod Sharma, a constable posted on duty at parliament House, was hit by a White Corolla car while he was crossing a road at Rafi Marg at 2300 hrs yesterday.

He was admitted to the Ram Manohar Lohia hospital in a serious conditions, police said.

A case has been registered against the driver of the car.

The Police had early today detained three people for interrogation in this connection but let them off later.
