One killed over land dispute in Nadiad
Nadiad, Sep 9: One person was killed in a fight between two groups over a land dispute at village Moti Timli in Mehamadabad taluka of the district last evening.
Police sources said both the groups were related to one another and fought over a disputed land, which led the murder of Fula Lalu Vaghela who died on the spot after receiving grievous injuries from a sharp-edged weapons.
The deceased's brother, Arjun Lalu Vaghela, then lodged a complaint against Mangal Ram Vaghela and Babu Vaghlea, who are still at large, police said.
Mehmadabad police have registered a murder case against the duo under sections 302, 329, 504 and 306 of Indian Penal Code (IPC), sources added.
