Dimapur to host National Youth Carnival

Kohima, Sep 9:The Youth Department of the Nagaland Baptist Church Council will host the National Youth Carnival, 2007 at Dimapur from October 25 to 28 next.

According to Nagaland Baptist Church Council(NBCC) sources here today, the grand carnival would be attended by the Baptist youths from all over the country and over ten thousand youths from across India are expected to participate in the four-day long extravagenza with Carols, Biblical dramas, various religious presentations and choir presentation.

Baptist youths from various churches in Nagaland are also likely to take part in the carnival.

Meanwhile, the NBCC had constituted a Finance Committee, which would raise funds for the mega carnival by organising music concerts, sources said.
