Brawl over watching TV prog leads to murder
New Delhi, Sep 9 (UNI) A seemingly innocuous conflict over watching their favourite TV programme led a Nagaland-based student to murder his friend at Timarpur in North Delhi early this morning, police said.
The brawl occurred when Kazeville, an MA student of Delhi University, and Albert Izung, a 12th class student, were hosting a party late yesterday night for their two friends from Nagaland, who were to leave for their home state today, at the house of Kazeville at Gandhi Vihar.
This was followed by Albert taking a kitchen knife and stabbing Kazeville with it at around 0600 hrs. Kazeville was taken to the Hindu Rao hospital where he was declared brought dead.
Albert has been arrested.
Both Albert an Keziville hail from Nagaland and were staying in different rented apartments at Gandhi Vihar.
