Boy burns himself to death while emulating TV feat

Jalgaon, Maharashtra, Sep 9 (UNI) A ten-year-old boy burnt himself to death here while trying to emulate the feat as featured in a television show ''Shabbash India''.

After watching the show, the boy, Deepak Pandurang Harne, poured kerosene and set himself afire and ran on streets yesterday burent in a bid to emulate the feat.

Neighbour stopped Harne and doused the flames with blankets.

Later, he was rushed to the civil hospital here.

However, the boy had sustained 90 per cent burns and succumbed this morning, police said.
