Andhra Rashtra Samiti to campaign for separate Andhra
Vijayawada, Sep 9 (UNI) The Andhra Rashtra Samithi (ARS) will begin campaign to mobilise public opinion for a separate Andhra state tomorrow, its Founder P Raghavaswami said today.
Talking to newspersons here, he said the campaign would be launched at Srikakulam district and concluded at Guntur district. A three-day motorcade campaign, led by ARS leader Surender Reddy, would cover all the coastal districts.
During the campaign, public meetings would be organised and several organisations would meet to explain the need for a separate Andhra, Mr Raghavaswami said.
The second phase of the campaign would be started in Rayalaseema district in October, he added.
