22 persons injured in bus accident in TN

Pudukkottai, Sep 9: As many as 22 persons were injured when a State Transport Corporation bus in which they were travelling overturned and fell into a road side gorge at Ammapatnam near here last night, police today said.

The bus was proceeding to Oriyur from Velankanni and the accident occurred the driver was trying to give side to a two-wheeler, which was coming from the opposite direction, occurred.

The injured were admitted to Government hospital, Manalmelgudi.
