Third phase of monsoon active in Rajasthan

Jaipur, Sep 8 (UNI) The third phase of monsoon is still active in Rajasthan with heavy downpour reported from various parts of the state.

Kotputli in Jaipur district, recorded 88 mm rainfall over the last 24 hours.

Agricultural experts said most parts of Rajasthan have had good rainfall in this third phase of monsoon, and farmers are hoping for a good crop. The state is likely to see some more rainfall in the coming days.

According to the weather and irrigation department, Jaipur's six districts including Kotputli recorded 88 mm, Bassi 55, Paota 40 and Jamwa Ramgarh 38 mm. Bharatpur recorded 57, Ver 41, Hingota 85, Ucchain 73 and Bhusawar 80, Sawai Madhopur 45, Karauli 33, Dhopur's Baseri 30, Churu 24, Taranagar 38 and Ganganagar's Ghadsana 37, Hanumangarh's Chani 44, Rawatsar 25, Alwar's LAxmangarh 48, Alwar 40, TOnk's Piplu 34, Aligarh 21, Tonk 21, Dausa's Mahuwa 59, Lalsot 65, Bandikui 37, Dausa 73 mm of rainfall.

According to the forecast, there is a possibility of thundershowers in some parts of the state over the next 24 hours.
