'SmartCity' global corporate identity launched at Dubai function
Kochi, Sep 8 (UNI) SmartCity, a new Dubai-based global company which will set up a knowledge-based park here, today launched its global corporate identity at a function in Dubai.
According to a release by SmartCity here, the company's logo was released at a function during the GITEX Technology Week 2007, the premier information technology trade show in the Middle East.
The function was attended by Executive Chairman of TECOM Investments Ahmad Bin Byat, Executive Chairman of Sama Dubai Farhan Faraidooni, Abdul Latif Al Mulla, CEO of TECOM Investments and Fareed Abadul Rahman, Executive Director of SmartCity.
The Kochi Smartcity is a joint venture between TECOM Investments and and the Kerala Government.
The new logo, which will be incorporated into the Kochi project's brand identity, reflects SmartCity's global network and its vast future growth opportunities, the release said.
Mr Ahmad Bin Byat said SmartCity Kochi will be one of India's largest knowledge industry parks with the potential to generate more than 90,000 jobs.
The group is setting up a similar project in Malta also.
