Ram Temple issue associated with faith: BJP

Ayodhya, Sep 8 (UNI) The BJP today said the Ram temple issue was associated with the faith of the crore of people in the country.

''Prayers at Ramlala are already on...we only need to impart grandeur to it,'' new BJP state unit president Ramapati Ram Tripathi told newspersons after paying obeisance at the makeshift temple in the disputed premises.

Slamning at the ruling Mayawati-led BSP regime in Uttar Pradesh, the BJP leader said there was a need for the party to gear up for a fight in interest of the state.

''Both BSP and SP cannot be trusted...they are sides of the same coin,'' he said.

Exhorting party workers to start preparations for the forthcoming Lok Sabha poll, Mr Tripathi claimed the BJP would get a rip-roaring success and regain power at the centre.
