Normal weather prevails in Kolkata with trace rainfall

Kolkata, Sep 8 (UNI) Weather in the city today remained humid with traces of rainfall in some places.

Maximum temperature was pegged at 30.6 degree Celsius, while the minimum was 27.8 degrees Celsius, said the Met officials.

Local weathermen recorded maximum relative humidity at 92 per cent and the minimum at 74 per cent.

The Met department predicted generally cloudy sky with possibility of one or two spells of rain or thundershowers in some areas.
