UP: Life imprisonment to murder convict

Jaunpur, Sep 8: A local court has sentenced a man convicted of murder to life imprisonment.

According to petitioner Ram Narayan Yadav, his son Lal Chand was shot dead by Akhilesh Yadav on January 7, 2004.

Hearing the case yesterday, Additional District and Sessions Court Judge (IV) Arun Kumar Mishra pronounced life imprisonment to the accused besides imposing penalty of Rs 10,000 on him.
