Islamabad, Sep 8 (UNI) Lebanese government official Saad Hariri -- who is acting as a go-between between the Pakistan government and exiled Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif -- is scheduled to arrive here today for a crucial meeting with President Pervez Musharraf.

''Saad Hariri is slated to meet President Musharraf on his visit to Pakistan and he will discuss issues related with prevalent situation in Pakistan,'' reports quoted government sources as saying.

The Lebanese official would apprise President Musharraf of his meeting with the Sharif brothers in London yesterday, where he conveyed to them an ''important message'' from the Pakistan government.

According to the sources, the government advised the Sharif brothers that Shahbaz Sharif may come back to Pakistan on September 10 but Nawaz Sharif should not return till the holding of presidential election. On the other hand, the Sharif brothers, in their reply, vowed that both the brothers would return to Pakistan on September 10 at any cost.

The son of assassinated former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, Saad Hariri had played an important role in the agreement between the Musharraf government and Sharif brothers under which they were freed from jail.
