2 elephants found dead with bullet injuries

Madikeri, Sep 8 (UNI) Two young elephants were found dead at Bhandragole Hebale village in south Kodagu district today.

Forests Assistant Conservator Pathak told UNI that bullet wounds were found on the carcasses of the two pachyderms, whose tusks were intact.

An inquiry had been ordered into the incident, he added.
