TDP 'politicising' mining issue: Minister

Hyderabad, Sep 7 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Mines and Geology Minister Ms Sabitha Indra Reddy today alleged that opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) was politicing the 'Galaxi black granite' issue to gain political mileage.

Addressing the press here, Ms Reddy said the government had awarded contract to Gimpex, after inviting global tenders.

''There were no irregularities while awarding the contract to the company on Chimakurthi Galaxi Granites in Prakasham district, as the TDP was alleging,'' she added.
