Surat receives heavy rains

Surat, Sep 7 (UNI) Surat district has received heavy rains since last evening.

Surat city received 28 mm rains while Kamrej received 100 mm rains. Uchchal taluka received 52 mm rains.

The water level in the Ukai dam has risen to 336.10 feet. More heavy rains have been forecast in the district over the next 24 hours.
