Hearing complete in Shilpa Shetty case
Indore, Sep 7 (UNI) A local court today reserved its order on a revision petition charging film actors Shilpa Shetty and Richard Gere of objectionable behaviour in public during an AIDS awareness programme.
Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Deep Kumar Kesharwani completed hearing in the case.
Earlier, a lower court had quashed a complaint filed by advocate Indrajeet Singh Bhatia in this regard.
Mr Bhatia had filed a complaint seeking action against Shilpa, Gere, organisers of the programme, Bangladeshi author Taslima Nasrin and others.
Meanwhile, a lower court today fixed the next date of hearing on a complaint filed by Mr Bhatia against Dera Sacha Sauda head Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh on October 18.
In his complaint, Mr Bhatia had alleged that the Dera Chief had hurt the religious sentiments of Sikhs.
An application had been submitted from Sant Ram Rahim Singh's side to the Madhya Pradesh High Court's Indore Bench requesting to end the matter. The matter would be heard on September 29.
