Grenade attack on CRPF in Kashmir

Srinagar, Sep 7 (UNI) Suspected militants lobbed a hand grenade on a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) bunker in downtown city last evening, police said today.

They said the grenade was hurled on the bunker of the CRPF's 160 battalion at Bohri Kadal in downtown city.

However, the grenade failed to explode, police said, adding the Bomb Disposal Squad of the Jammu and Kashmir police later defused it.

Police have registered case in this regard and launched a manhunt to nab the attackers.
