Gold closes at three months high, silver up

Mumbai, Sep 7 (UNI) Pure gold today closed at three high of Rs 9,260 per ten gm with a smart gain of Rs 140 from its last close, mainly on bullish advice from global and upcountry markets.

Similarly silver finished high at Rs 17,470 per kg with big gain of Rs 265 from it previous close on lesser stocks and strong global advice, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.
