4 suspected to be ISI agents

Hyderabad, Sep 7 (UNI) The Special Investigation Team (SIT), probing the August 25 twin blasts that claimed 44 lives, has arrested four persons suspected to be ISI agents in the city in connection with the explosions.

Police sources said the SIT arrested four persons at Maredpalli area in the city this evening. The arrested persons were identified as Jahir, Javed, Kureshi and Mohd Julphikar Ahmed. They were picked up from a house, where they were holding a meeting.

The SIT police obtained clues and information of the whereabouts of the arrested persons from Kaleem and Imran Khan, who underwent narco analysis test at Bangalore two days ago.

Kaleem and Imran were arrested for allegedly having links with the HUJI leader Shahed alias Bilal, who was the mastermind behind the twin blasts and May 18 Mecca blasts.

So far, the SIT police had apprehended 17 people, including the four as mentioned above, who allegedly had links with the international terrorist organisations.
