3 US soldiers killed in Iraq
BAGHDAD, Sep 7 (Reuters) Three US soldiers were killed in northern Iraq when an explosion hit their vehicle, the US military said today.
The US military said in a statement the attack occurred in Nineveh province yesterday. It gave no other details, such as whether the blast was caused by a roadside bomb or a car bomb.
The deaths take to more than 3,750 the number of US soldiers killed since the start of the US-led invasion in 2003. Fourteen US soldiers have died so far this month.
