Woman murdered, valuables worth lakhs looted

Mau, Sep 6 (UNI) A group of attackers shot dead a woman and fled with valuables worth lakhs of rupees in Chiraiyakot area here.

The incident took place at village Bhikampur late yesterday, where masked criminals stormed into the house of Kailash Chaturvedi.

The miscreants looted Rs 10,000 and jewellery worth lakhs of rupees after fatally attacking Kailash's daughter.

The critically wounded was rushed to hospital, where she was declared brought dead.

A hunt was on to nab the accused.
