Notorious killer shot dead in police encounter

Belgaum, Sep 6 (UNI) A wanted notorious contract killer was shot dead in a police encounter here early this morning.

According to police Praveen Sintre, arrested in Udupi was brought here last night.

Sintre, who was taken to a building where he committed 36 crimes like murders and rape suddenly fired at the police team. The Inspector of Police returned the fire killing him on the spot.

Inspector General of Police and Belgaum Superintendent of Police visited the encounter spot.
