National leaders to participate in Ambala rally

Chandigarh, Sept 6 (UNI) Many national leaders would participate in Indian National Lok Dal rally at Ambala on September 25, to commemorate the birthday of former Deputy Prime Minister Devi Lal, the INLD MP Ajay Singh Chautala said here today.

While addressing meetings of district-level workers today at Panipat and Karnal, Mr Chautala said former chief minister of Tamil Nadu, Dr J. Jayalalitha, Uttar Pradesh's former chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav, former chief minister of Haryana, Om Parkash Chautala, Andhra Pradesh's former chief minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu, Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal, former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir Dr Farooq Abdullah, Jharkhand former chief minister Babu Lal Marandi, MDMK leader Mr Vaiko, Samajwadi Party leader and MP, Amar Singh, Assam Gana Parishad leader Virender Goswami and other senior leaders would be among the prominent leaders to address the massive gathering.

Mr Chautala said that all preparations for the rally had been completed. More than 20 senior INLD leaders were visiting villages and towns under the mass contact programme in different districts for creating awareness against the anti-people policy of Bhupinder Singh Hooda government.

He claimed that enormous public support and enthusiasm for the rally indicated that the rally would break all previous records in terms of public participation.
