Moderate rainfall in Gujarat

Ahmedabad, Sep 6 (UNI) Moderate rainfall was recorded in Gujarat in the past 24 hours, with Kaparada in Valsad district receiving the highest of 85 mm.

It was followed by Junagadh 70 mm, Vanthali 46 mm, Kamrej in Surat district 67 mm, Bharuch 48 mm and Jambughoda in Panchamahal district receiving 48 mm of rainfall, according to the emergency response centre of the state meteorological department.

However, Kachch and Porbandar districts remained dry, it added.
