Meena takes over charge as Gujarat Govt PRC

Gandhinagar, Sep 6 (UNI) Gujarat cadre IAS officer (1975 batch) R L Meena has taken over the charge of Principal Resident Commissioner of Gujarat Government in New Delhi today.

Mr Meena has taken over the charge from Ms Swatantra K Sekhon, who retired from the service, an official release stated.

Earlier also Mr Meena had held the same post for two years. At present he is undergoing a PhD on China affairs.

The Gujarat Government has given the charge of Additional Resident Commissioner to Mr D K Dave, who is presently working as the Deputy Resident Commissioner.

The State Information and Public Relation Officers' Association (SIPROA) has honoured both the officers for their new assignments, the release added.
