Maharashtra receives 1,060.7 mm of rainfall

Mumbai, Sep 6 (UNI) Maharashtra has so far received 1,060.7 mm of rainfall and farmers have completed the sowing in 33,19,000 hectars of land.

According to official sources, this week 63 talukas received very heavy rainfall, 153 heavy, 111 medium and 29 minor rainfall. This rainfall is good for the crops.

Meanwhile, the farmers have been given 11 lakh quintal seeds for sowing, sources added.
