UP: License of 14 fair price shops cancelled

Siddharthnagar, Sep 6: With a view to keep a check on black marketing, licenses of almost 14 government fair price shops have been cancelled, and 35 shops suspended.

''A total of 92 raids were conducted in three districts -- Basti, Sant Kabirnagar and Siddharthnagar -- of the division, following which licenses of some fair price shops had been cancelled,'' Commissioner of Basti division T P Pathak told UNI
