Kerala BJP holds MPs responsible for Palakkad Rly Division

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 6 (UNI) The Kerala unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today accused all the state Members of Parliament of being responsible for scuttling the development of railways, by bifurcating the Palakkad Division.

Inaugurating a march, organised against bifurcating palakkad division, to MP Panniyan Ravindran,s house here, party State General Secretary M T Ramesh alleged that these MPs had failed miserably in protecting the interests of the state.

Though the Centre had the support of 29 MPs, from the state, the Railway Ministry was neglecting the state, he charged.

As part of the agitation, BJP activists marched to all the MPs houses in the state. BJP State President P K Krishnadas inaugurated the march to MP Karunakaran's house at Kasaragod.
