IBM launches Global Insurance Centre of Excellence

Bangalore, Sep 6 (UNI) IBM Innovation Group today launched a new Global Insurance Centre of Excellence here to help companies to innovate next generation core systems, develop new business models and tap emerging technologies to create competitive advantage and improve customer satisfaction.

According to an IBM release, the new centre, based at IBM's Bangalore campus, would provide clients integration services based on Innovation Group's Innovation Policy and Innovation Claims software applications, which deliver high quality, low-risk and cost effective solutions for the enterprise.

IBM Insurance Industry General Manager Norbert Dick said the companies required core systems that were open, flexible, scalable and secure. ''The combination of IBM and Innovation Group technologies coupled with IBM's systems integration leadership will help joint clients to achieve a single view of their customers, lower operating costs and streamline risk management across the enterprise,'' he added.
