Hindustan Dorr bags Rs 77 cr order from NALCO

Mumbai, Sep 6 (UNI) Hindustan Dorr-Oliver bagged a contract of Rs 77 crore from National Aluminium Company Ltd (NALCO) for the capacity expansion of Alumina Refinery at Damanjodi, Orissa.

The company today informed the bourses that it has been awarded the contract for design, residual basic engineering, detailed engineering, procurement, erection, construction and commissioning of HRDs and DCWs, including flocculant preparation unit and cauticisation unit, along with associated facilities and auxiliaries. Hindustan Dorr will work for NALCO's process of expansion of their Alumina Refinery at Damanjodi, Orissa from 1.575 million TPY to 2.1 million TPY capacity, by adding one more production line of 525 KTPY capacity. The contract has to be completed within a period of 16 months. This expansion project is designated as NALCO phase-2 expansion.
