Gold closes at a 25-week high, silver down

Mumbai, Sep 6 (UNI) Pure gold today closed at a 25-weeks high of Rs 9,120 per ten gm with a modest gain of Rs 30 from its last close, mainly on bullish advice from global and upcountry markets.

But silver finished lower at Rs 17,205 per kg with small loss of Rs 10 on larger stocks, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.
