Ganja seized from out-bound trains in Assam
Guwahati, Sep 6 (UNI) About 68 kg of contraband ganja was today recovered from two out-bound trains at Guwahati railway station.
Government Railway Police Force (GRPF) sources informed that hauls were made from Delhi and Kolkata bound trains originating in Upper Assam.
''In a major haul, 58 kg ganja was seized from the Brahmaputra Mail. The ganja was suspected to have come from Manipur, via Dimapur,'' police informed mediapersons.
They said in another haul 10 kg ganja was recovered from the Kolkata-bound Kamrup Express. It was also suspected to have been routed from Manipur, via Dimapur.
No arrests have been made so far, GRPF sources added.
