Four Russian policemen killed in Chechnya - Ifax
MOSCOW, Sep 6 (Reuters) Unidentified gunmen killed four policemen in Russia's volatile province of Chechnya in two separate incidents early today, Interfax news agency reported.
Two policemen died and one was wounded after a blast and a shootout, the agency said, giving no further details. In another incident, two policemen were killed after being sprayed with bullets, it quoted an unnamed security source as saying.
Chechnya's Pro-Russian President Ramzan Kadyrov has made a show of reconstructing the shattered republic but rebels, many of whom profess links with radical Islamists, carry out attacks on Russian forces.
