Deputy secretary in JK suspended

Srinagar, Sep 6: Jammu and Kashmir Government has placed Deputy Secretary Industries and Commerce Department Parvez Ahmad Wani under suspension with immediate effect, an official spokesman said today.

He said suspension order against Mr Wani was issued following his unauthorized absence from duty.

The officer has been attached with General Administration Department, he said.

The Government has also relieved Majid K A Drabu, Under Secretary, Industries and Commerce from the Industries and Commerce department (Civil Secretariat).

The official has been directed to join the Directorate of Industries and Commerce, Kashmir.

Meanwhile, government has transferred G M Brakboo, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Nobra and posted him as Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Khaltsi, L Thinless, Deputy Director, Employment, Leh will hold the charge of the post of Project Officer, DRDA, Leh in addition to his own duties till further orders while Mrs Tsewaing Dolma, Project Officer, DRDA Leh, has been transferred and posted as Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Nobra.
