Council to promote overseas employment approved

New Delhi, Sept 6 (UNI) The Union Cabinet today approved for the constitution of Council for Promotion of Overseas Employment (CPOE) by a resolution of the government that would analyse employment potential in the world manpower market.

Speaking to reporters after the Cabinet meeting , Information and Broadcasting Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi said the Council will study, monitor skill development programmes and standardise skill certification by coordinating with concerned agencies in the government and private sector.
