Assembly session likely to last for a week
Jaipur, Sep 6 (UNI) Four to five bills are expected to be tabled during the monsoon session of the Rajasthan Assembly beginning from September 18.
Parliamentary Affiars Minister Rajendra Singh Rathore told UNI that the session would be of a brief duration and likely to last for about a week.
Mr Rathore said the government is planning to bring new bill to replace the old Private Universities Bill, with motive to incorporate the guidelines issued by the Supreme Court.
Besides this, the bills will also be tabled in the house to replace four ordinances, including two from amending Rajasthan Municipal and Cooperative Acts.
The last session of the assembly was concluded on April 4 and accordingly the next session was due to be convened by October 4, an official spokesman said.
